Karate Terminology & Language
This is a preview of our Karate Terminology page. Because Shotokan Karate was originally taught in Japan, while it was traveling around, the original Japanese names and terminology stayed the same. You can find most of the movements and their translations/meanings on this page as well as how to count to ten in Japanese.
