Examiner License
All instructors that want to associate their dojo and want to be able to test their students with KarateCoaching must have a valid Examiner License.
"C" Examiner Licence:
The “C” examiner license is for independently associated instructors and allows the instructor to test students from white belt to brown belt. The license includes:
- Online registration into the worldwide Database of KarateCoaching for Examiners (with online visible examiner license certificate).
- Backlink from your examiner license listing to your dojo (backlinks increase your dojo's search engine results).
- Dojo/School owners can have their Karate school listed in the KarateCoaching Business database. (that's another backlink to your dojo).

The cost for the "C" examiner license is $125 a year (plus $15 flat rate shipping for the certificate). Requirements: Minimum of 15 years of Karate experience. Minimum age 25 years. Your examiner license will expire if you have not at least 25 Kyu test/certifications with KarateCoaching within a 12 month period.
"B" Examiner License:
The “B” examiner license is for independent associated instructors and allows instructors to test students from white belt including the level of 1st Dan (Shodan). To apply for a "B" license the examiner must have been an "C" examiner for at least 12 months and have at least 120 Kyu tests/certifications with KarateCoaching. The license includes:
- Online registration into the worldwide Database of KarateCoaching for Examiners (with online visible examiner license certificate).
- Backlink from your examiner license listing to your dojo (backlinks increase your dojo's search engine results).
- Dojo/School owners can have their Karate school listed in the KarateCoaching Business database. (that's another backlink to your dojo).

The cost for the "B" examiner license is $250 a year (plus $15 flat rate shipping for the certificate). Requirements: Minimum of 20 years of Karate experience. Minimum age 30 years. Your examiner license will expire if you have not at least 25 Kyu test/certifications with KarateCoaching within a 12 month period.

"A" Examiner License:
The "A" examiner license is for fully associated instructors only and allows the instructor to test students up to the level of 4th Dan (Yondan). "A" examiners must go through the challenging and prestigious KarateCoaching examiner/instructor course and pass this course with a score of at least 85%. This course is the most advanced and challenging course that has ever been written for traditional Karate and any student can be extremely proud to have passed this prestegious course.
The license includes:
- Online registration into the worldwide Database of KarateCoaching for Examiners (with online visible examiner license certificate).
- Backlink from your examiner license listing to your dojo (backlinks increase your dojo's search engine results).
- Dojo/School owners can have their Karate school listed in the KarateCoaching Business database. (that's another backlink to your dojo).
- Lifetime KarateCoaching Log In Access. ($250 VALUE per year)
The cost for the "A" examiner license is $1200 for a lifetime (plus $15 flat rate shipping for the certificate). Requirements: Minimum of 25 years of Karate experience. Minimum age 35 years.
Associated dojos can order their Kyu certificated through KarateCoaching. Please use for your order the Kyu Testing List. Fill out the form and email or mail it back to KarateCoaching. We will then send out via mail all Kyu Certifications, membership passes (for new members), put your students into the online Kyu database, create the backlinks to your dojo’s website and post the student’s Kyu certificate online.
