Sanchin Dachi

Sanchin Dachi (Hour glass stance).

Sanchin Dachi is more of a defensive stance (protecting your groin area). The knees pointing inwards and the thighs are pushed inwards to protect the groin area; the toes of the back foot are almost on the same height as the heel of the front foot. The back foot points as much forward as you are flexible. The front foot points in an ankle of almost 45 degrees to protect the groin.
